- Don't call malloc+free in the very hot forward(). - Don't call isTiedToDefOperand(). - Don't create BitVector temporaries. - Merge DeadRegs into KillRegs. - Eliminate the early clobber checks, they were irrelevant to scavenging. - Remove unnecessary code from -Asserts builds.
